I saw it the other day and it was a lot better than I expected. I’m not a big fan of Angelina Jolie but this movie is not the typical “Angelina” movie. Plus, it was directed by Clint Eastwood so I figured it couldn’t be that bad. Just wondering what you guys thought about it.

It was highly disturbing! Without giving anything away… I am not sure which part was the most disturbing! Those of you who have seen the movie will know exactly what I am talking about. If you have not seen this movie I highly recommend renting it!
It was better than I thought it was going to be, was definitely disturbing and sad, but I still wouldn’t add it to my list of favorite movies. Clint Eastwood, though, has been doing a fantastic job in general. One movie that I did add to my “favorites” was Gran Torino – awesome movie!
It’s not one that you walk out saying, “I loved that movie!” It was well-acted and directed, though. It was disturbing – due to the true nature of the movie. I was angered in parts, because of what was happening in the movie. It was a well-made movie, she was actually good in the movie, too.
Good show, Angelina needs some meat on her bones.
Angelina’s character was two-dimensional. There was nothing to her but her obsessive search. In that regard I found it very dissatisfying. But as a plot-driven movie it was fine, though, as you say, disturbing.
