If you did not "fluther", what would you replace that time with?

Haha, um, working on my debate, homework, a social life, family time, eating, breathing, sleeping, weeping and rocking myself in dark corners because I missed my fellow jellies ect…

Probably some less than satisfactory social networking site, a new hobby, reading, homework, anything productive, etc, etc. . .

I love fluther, yet hate it at the same time. I’ve wasted so much time here that i could’ve put into many other projects. I love the site, but it has taken far too much time away from me.

I need get some willpower.

i will not lie to myself and fluther by saying i’d do something productive because that is just nonsense. if i was not distracting myself with fluther, i would probably be distracting myself by playing sims or tetris, fiddling around aimlessly on all of those ridiculous social networking websites, or, hey, maybe sleeping. certainly not reading fountainhead though, or torturing myself with that repulsive chemistry textbook.

Ugh. I don’t know. I used to waste my time watching television, and since discovering Fluther I’ve wasted all my time here. But between those giving up TV and discovering Fluther there was a year that I don’t remember very well, but whatever it was I did during that time, that’s what I’d be doing.

edit: Actually, I do remember that time. I think it was the most intellectually rewarding year of my life. It was when I went through practically everything I had ever been taught and believed, and analyzed it, and came out an entirely different person. I need to limit my distractions for a while.

Well, if there wasn’t Fluther I’d certainly have more time to tickle my pickle, among other things.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this question was “Huh, I wonder how many people have answered with masturbation?”

Astro Chucks worst nightmare is Fluther going down for a day. He’d have to talk to his wife and kid instead. So AC, do you have nightmares about Fluther not being there for you? Nightmares where you wake up screaming and maybe even wetting the bed? Okay, don’t answer that, I really don’t want to know. :-)

I’d like to think I’d be doing something useful, but I doubt it ;-)

I would be reading more, which is what I WAS doing before I discovered this place! I love it here though :)

Well, I might pick lint out of my belly button for a few hours. Then I might head out to the lawn to watch grass grow. Then, at lunchtime, it’s back in to see if the pots will ever boil. Finally, I think I’ll take in a snail race or two. Then it’s back to the lint picking.

Some other shit on the internet, and a lot more research for questions that I couldn’t have conveniently answered.
