The Football team "San Francisco 49'ers"?
No, this is a plaid wool women's shirt jacket, but I don't know why it's called a 49er jacket.
Does it resemble the clothes that the original Forty-Niners (the miners who went west in the Gold Rush of 1849) wore? (That’s who the team was named after . . .)
Clementine wore one of those I think . . .
