Is this normal?
When I was about 1 or 2 years old i was at my trailer with my babysitter while my parents were at work and my siblings were at school and the trailer caught on fire. Now I have dreams that I am caught in fires and where I live catches fire and stuff like that and I wake up in a cold sweat and crying. Is that normal or should I get it checked out? But the weird thing is that I dont remember anything about it.

It seems like an understandable response. If it is impacting your daily life (like you won’t stay somewhere because of fear of fire) then having it checked out might be a good idea. There is a lot o help available for phobias and post-traumatic stress.
I haven’t experienced something as traumatic as what you describe, so take my response with a grain of salt. But I regularly write down my dreams and later journal about them. So I have some experience in this realm.
One thing I’ve discovered is that fairly frequently I am processing emotional experiences in my dreams. I am having reactions and expressing things that I haven’t allowed myself in normal life, for whatever reason, and my psychic system is finding a way to let these things out. So if that is true for you, you could be grateful for these releases, as scary as they may be.
You’d be amazed at the things that stay with you from your earliest days even tho you have no conscious memory of them. See my answer in this thread. It’s a story from potty training that I had no memory of. Tell your Mom you are having such nightmares, and you’d like to get some help with them. Your guidance counselor at school might be able to help you find someone to talk to.
There are people who can help you understand why you are having such dreams, and how to make them stop. You might be experiencing a slight version of PTSD.
I agree that you should find someone to talk to about it. You might not remember it because you brain is protecting you from the traumatic memories.
Some of my relatives said that when I was younger I would wake up from my nap screaming Mommy help me fire and stuff like that so I`m scared even though I didn`t remember anything about the fire.
It could be your unconscious signalling you of underlying stress that you may not even know is there. See if there is anything else you may be worrying about or a fear, and just talk to your friends about it or the babysitter if you still know them? It may help.
Try not to worry too much though, it’s not good for the soul :)
