Do you have particular criteria that compels you to answer or ignore a fluther question?
Is there something in particular that makes you avoid a question? If so, what?

I will ignore a question if;
1. I cannot give a good accurate answer
2. sounds like homework (I will help with homework, but I don’t do it for you)
3. mindless questions asked just to be asking. (trolling)
4. If it is a personal question, I will send a PM rather than a public response
I decided with my first post that I’ll only contribute if I have something worthy to contribute, in as kind and positive a way as possible, and on occasion with words which might bring a smile to the readers face…
—I spread Lurve that way too—
No particular criteria; I answer as the spirit moves me.
If I come across questions where I have no expertise or even minimal knowledge, I usually avoid them because I know somewhere in the esteemed Fluther community, someone can do much better with an answer than me and all the power to them also. I’d just be taking up space on the thread.
Other than that, whether it be fact based or opinion based questions where I can offer some meaningful and/or informed input, I’ll be hovering nearby somewhere getting ready to submit an answer.
I pretty much avoid all of the silly relationship questions.
I ignore questions in areas outside my expertise (which includes almost all tech questions among others).
I ignore questions that are so poorly or impenetrably worded I can make no sense of them (unless I ask the questioner for clarification).
I try hard to ignore questions in which I know that particular questioner has a point of view or agenda they are pushing.
If I don’t know anything about it (although I might read it to see what people say).
If it looks really stupid.
Other than that, I consider most questions, although I can’t answer them all due to time constraints.
I ignore the stupid questions and I don’t answer any thing that I feel may be insulting or narrowminded. It depends on the mood. Sometimes stupid questions is there for the the fun, is that what Fluther should be about. Sometimes fun does not kill.
I ignore questions that:
a) Don’t interest me or are just dumb
b) Aren’t thought provoking or funny
I answer questions that:
a) I think will result in a good debate or learning experience
b) Make me laugh
Grammar.
My instant reaction to the question (intrigued/“WTF?RUSRS?”).
Also, if it has anything to do with any sort of technology..Cat’s most likely not touchin’ that one.
@DrBill hit it on the button. Ditto for me. Plus grammar and typos, to a certain extent. I am more lax for the phoners-in.
