What is something I could say to him that will make him feel good/special?

just say something like : awww I love spending time with you…
he’ll feel so good

Let him be a hero/protector. say something like “it’s dark, would you mind walking me to my car?”

When he makes any decision (that you agree with) say “you always know what to do.”

Almost anything that indicates you want to look up to him.

I don’t know how long you have known him or how close your relationship is at this point but you could say several things to make him feel good. Probably whatever comes to mind for you.

Compliment him on his features. Tell him what you admire about him specifically. Express your interest in your burgeoning relationship with him. Let him know how special he is to you and explain to him how and why he makes you feel so good.

If you see him doing something (like a sport) admire his skill. If you see him being nice to someone, tell him you love that about him—that his is so kind.

Say this:

“You’re special to me. I never enjoyed being with anyone as much as I do with you. I never wanted to be with anyone as much as I do you. I think about you a lot.”

Just look at him and start smiling. Keep smiling at him until he asks, “What?”.

Answer, “I’m so lucky.”, and give him a hug.

Wait till he talks, listen mostly.soon or later you will hear something that he loves or fear the most and agree with him on both.

—“I’ve never known anybody like you.”

—“I feel like we’re just on the same wavelength.”

—“When you’re with me, I forget to feel {cold | scared | nervous | tired}.”

—“You make me glad to be me.”

Just make sure what ever you say is honest and real…well dont tell him you love how his glass eye sparkle in the moon light or that you adore the way he drools when he laughs, unless you really mean it.
