YAZOO hef, Fat Tire, or Yuengling (light)

Okanagan Springs 1516 is a pretty tasty everyday brew.
Smithwick’s
Guinness
Yards ESB (or any ESB really)
Bass

Saranac Caramel Porter
Belhaven (any variety)
McEwan’s
Anchor Steam (all varieties)
and once in a while a milk stout.
My very favorite is The Reverend by Avery Brewing in Boulder.
Ordinarily I’ll drink ambers like Fat Tire or Drop Top. Here in Oregon, we have a chain of micro-pubs called McMenamin’s and each location always has a special brew or two on nitro. I had an Irish stoutthis weekend that was pretty damn tasty.
OH and i should add Obolon from Ukraine, and Baltika from Russia. Zywich from Poland.
Columbus Brewing Company’s Apricot Ale.
Young’s Luxury Double Chocolate Stout
Erdinger
Tucher
Grolsch
Bass
August Schell Pilsner
St. Pauli Girl
Good old fashioned Budweiser
Spaten Lager
New Belgium Fat Tire
Guinness
SLO Blueberry Ale
Yuengling
Young’s Chocolate Stout
Stella Artois
@Blondesjon – Have you ever tried Young’s chocolate stout with vanilla ice cream? It sounds gross, but it’s actually quite delicious :D
I WAS KIDDING… I DRINK BEER… YUM.
Pabst.
Icehouse
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Fat Tire

edit :: I’m poor and like to get fucked on the cheap.
@KrystaElyse….No I’m a bit of a purist. I eat my ice cream after I’m done drinking. I like it straight out of the container while I’m standing over the sink. For some reason I always use a fork when I’m eating it this way.
jonsblond knows if i had too much to drink the night before by the “fork tracks” in the Blue Bunny
@johnpowell get behind the 8-ball do we? I was drinking some sierra nevada ESB earlier today.
Stone Arrogant Bastard
Four Peaks Moose Drool
Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold

@Blondesjon indeed you are correct, Tire Bite, someone wrote Fat Tire above somewhere and it must have been in my head haha. Thanks for the correction!
I also want to say that I like the Flying Dog Road Dog better than the Tire Bite, so slight edit.
@madcapper at least no one said Fat Pillow up there…
Personally hate beer.
If I have to drink it, which will only happen after I’m liquor’d up it’s Bud Light, Heineken, Michelob, or Coors Lite. Anything else, gtfo.
@onesecondregrets that list is why you hate beer. It’s like saying you hate milk because you’ve only ever had skim.
Sam Adams Winter Lager
Bass
Sapporo – occasionally
Negro Modelo – occasionally
After I have finished working in the yard with my husband, on a hot summer day – an ice cold Bud Light is perfect. I have yet to abandon my cheap, favorite college beer…many quarter beer nights with Bud!
I believe Fluther has had this question before, and my answer then as now is a favorite beer from Olympia: Fishtail. They have an organic IPA that is delicious.
Stella Artois
Sapporo w/sushi
Natty Boh w/crabs in Balmer!
@bythebay – I’ve never seen Stella Artois, before. Hmmm….new beer to me…must try!
@cak i have friends who swear by it. It’s belgian.
@eponymoushipster – I’ll have to look for it, there are some places around here that should carry it – I just need to look.
@bythebay yeah, i’m an occasional partaker of the stella. i’m not huge on lighter beers, but it’s ok.
@cak my regular old supermarket carries it in bottles. i think TGIFriday’s also has it on tap (again, the ones in my area do).
I’m a purist. I won’t touch anything that smells of mass production. I only drink a few times a year because I like to use it as a reward, rather than as a daily or weekly thing, and when I drink, it’s stout. Sometimes an ale, but NEVER, EVER a pilsner or a lager. My beer of choice is Bent River Uncommon Stout. A fine oatmeal brew with a hint of coffee flavor. Brewed locally and by people who know what good beer is supposed to taste like. Life is too short to drink cheap beer.
The brewmaster once had a new customer ask him for something similar to Bud Light. He poured the guy a glass of water.
Stella Artois
Pilsner Urquell
Trumer Pils
@eponymoushipster ..I’ve never liked any beer I have tried really so I don’t have the desire to explore, haha.
Bitburger
Rothaus Pilsner & Tannen Zapfle
Hacker-Pschorr Weisse
Moose Drool
Alaskan Amber
Manny’s
Black Butte Porter
@onesecondregrets ok, but you gotta try the really good microbrews, when you’re 21. <wink>
@eponymoushipster…haha is that like, indie beer? This whole not 21 thing gets in the way of too much these days. fml.
@Blondesjon…Pretend microbrew? ...Ironic it was “brewed” on my birthday? I think so.
@onesecondregrets yeah, “indie” beer.
wouldn’t sierra nevada be considered “indie beer”? – a lot of indie bands drink that onstage. is that the default in an indie band rider?
I believe everyone should do themselves a favor and start drinking micro-brews early so they don;t fall into bad habits such as only like Bud-Light, such as many of my friends haha
CB
(Christiansand Brewery) the local stuff here..
Inis & Gunn. It’s aged in oak barrels, gives it a really interesting taste.
@Staalesen
CB is great! That way my first REAL ‘utepils’! Yum!
But beer is a thing of moods. And it also depends where you are, and what they serve there.
But Stella is always a god choice :D
Oh man this list got me drunk just looking at it.
Does anyone know the asian beer they serve at Benihana when they give you Saki Bombs? Did some in Miami and the beer they used was actually pretty good.
@Triiiple: Probably Kirin because that’s what they usually have on draft.
Im a fan of Kirin Ichiban def. wasnt that. Came in a big fat brown bottle.
Sapporo comes in a big brown bottle.
@bythebay and we have a winner! just google’d that was it.
@Milladyret
True, but here down south we are especially connected to our own little brewery :)
I love Heineken. I also love every one of the Alaska beers. I also thoroughly enjoy Sam Adam’s Oktoberfest.
Coors Light, but I rarely drink.
