Do you ever feel like you’re already dead and this whole thing is just a last, dying flicker of electricity in your dying brain, or it’s all just been some sort of dream to begin with?

No, because I assume death will be peaceful and worry-free.
yea I felt like that before
Yes. It’s called depression. However, it could be true. Never know.
You can’t be dead if you’ve never been born.
I keep asking myself that question…...
I cannot believe that heaven can be better.
No but I’ve interacted with some dead people on this site. :)
@SeventhSense really? I guess thats why your name is seventhsense
Oooh, that’s interesting. I felt like I was dying once, but never that I was already dead. Great question.
No. It is my life and I treasure each day of it and each special moment.
Today, while I was sitting next to a little lake waiting to be picked up, a stranger asked me to hold his disabled son’s hand while he parked the truck and trailer in a way it was off the road, and he could run in to get the little boy’s prescription. He told me the name of the child’s syndrome, but I don’t recall it.
I asked the little boy if he was OK with staying with me, and he smiled and nodded yes. I talked to him about the lake and said that I had seen a bird earlier and maybe we could see one. He shouted bird and pointed. I thought he was imagining it, but I looked and a water bird had popped up out in the middle of the lake. We laughed together.
His life was obviously very difficult, but he was filled with joy. his father obviously loved him very much. He touched me deeply. It was a very life-filled moment.
@marina
Life sends us afermations of it’s vitality in all sorts of ways!
What a joy to find these jewels poping up in our lives? Eh?
I have felt dead- like a walking shadow amongst a world that would continue on with or without me. Like an observer rather than a participant. Not scary- just in another zone.
Now that I have my family they keep me plugged in to life. :)
The only time I felt dead was the preceding 72 hours before I was diagnosed with diabetes. I was horribly sick for that 3 days before I finally went to the ER and got the bad news.
I wouldn’t know what being dead feels like. . .
Many times in class… I at least feel like I’m absolutely DYING.
yes i get treated like I am, it sux

@SeventhSense Hey, creepy! How did you get your text to do that—to extend all the way across the screen, out of the dialogue box??
So, are you implying that I’m already dead and I just don’t know it yet?
Hungry Ghosts refers to the second realm of samsara.
I feel like im already dead when I`m like so tired and when I cant move or something and it gets really creepy and boring. lalalalalalalala
When my great answers get no lurve, I wonder if I am dead sometimes. The of course, the paranoia kicks in and I wonder which of the other people on here wish I was dead. Because you see, I remain alive only to annoy those folks.
Lurve is funny and I can help, but pimpin aint easy
No…I think death will feel like going home
I definitely know what you mean. You feel like you are a ghost and just imagining the things that are going on. I looked it up, I think it’s called derealization. I hate it. It also makes me feel sort of like I can’t picture the future, like I’m walking toward a cliff and it’s all nothingness ahead. It tends to go away after a few days. I think it’s depression related.
Actually look up depersonalization.

Sometimes I think I’ve gone as much as my karma will allow me in this lifetime but I’m still here so i guess not.
This is called Cotard’s Delusion.
