NOOO. That’s not what I was asking. I was asking if the girls who actually make it through do castings or tapes. Like.. Is one better than the other to do.
I’m not understanding your question. You want to know if the casting or tapes are better for what exactly?
You must attend a casting to get on the show; I didn’t see any mention of sending in tapes anywhere on the website. And once you’ve “made it through” then you’re through, right?
The tapes you see on television are done at casting calls where the casting director or team is not in attendance. You don’t send them in anymore.
You either can send in a tape OR go to a casting. It’s on the site.
Applications will only be considered if they are complete. You have the option of applying in any of the following ways: (a) Complete the application package as described here and in the application and send the entire completed application package to the Producers at the address below; or (b) Complete the written portion of the application package as described below and bring it to any of the open calls that will be listed on www.cwtv.com when the locations are made available (if you select this option, you do not need to send or bring with you to the open call the videotape).
What I want to know is if the people who have actually BEEN on the show, sent in tapes or went to castings. I want to know the statistics, have more of the girls who got on sent in tapes, or actually went in.
I’m too sleepy to read through the whole document… but the deadline for sending the tape is NEXT TUESDAY 3/10/09.

As for statistical data on previous contestants applications, I don’t see anything on wikipedia. I really need to get to sleep now. Sorry for the confusion, and I wish I could have found what you were looking for. Whichever you decide to do… I wish you success.
Thank you. I read the whole thing and know the deadline, but again thank you. I was just wondering which of the two has more success.
If it’s anything like other castings, it won’t really matter. Probably a tiny bit better to go in person—but most likely once they get to the stage where they’re making any decisions, it’ll all be on tape anyway.
