When you voted for Fluther, did you check out the competition?

I totally checked out the competition. I didn’t anything any of them held a candle to Fluther. Most of them were way too busy, I didn’t know where to look to even figure out what to do!

@EmpressPixie I agree! It seems like there isn’t another site even similar to us , and the ones I looked at were very difficult to navigate. I like our easy to use format much better.

I voted, and saw the Zombie site, and told my husband to check it out. He said it’s really lame (and he loves zombie stuff) That reminds me, I have to go vote ;)

I only checked out the zombie site. I love anything zombie, but I couldn’t see spending time on that site. I sure hope fluther wins!

I saw the zombie site too. I had no idea so many people were interested in such a thing!!

Honestly, I only checked out the zombie site. It would have been the only one I would have looked at, anyway. I was hoping it would be something my husband would have enjoyed, but I agree…it was lame.

I guess we all agree that jellies are much more ahem lively, right??

I checked a bunch of them, mostly out of boredom. I was worried about the zombies because it was so flashy and trendy but yeah not much substance.
I am worried because a lot of sites have a “vote for us” link on the main page so most likely are getting more votes.

Yes, I’ve been to 80% of the other sites so far.
There are some good one. and some big sites on there. like del.icio.us

I checked out, then bookmarked the Museum of Forward Thinking, which is one of my favorite new sites. I highly recommend that everyone play around on their site, you’re sure to find something cool. My favorite so far is an exhibition of photos from the desert of Namibia.

I tossed in a vote or two for the competition, actually. Fluther’s the only site I voted for more than once, though.
