For me, my girlfriend got my lips tattooed inbetween her clavicle and her neck.

I wouldn’t really consider this romantic, but I have an adopted brother who is deaf, so a guy I was dating for a while actually took the time to learn sign language. The fact that he took the time to do something he didn’t necessarily have to do makes that one of the most sweetest and thoughtful things anyone has ever done.
The other day I woke up to my boyfriend making us breakfast- papas con chorizo! i thought it was the most beautiful gesture…because he tried so hard at making it, and it was delicious.
If they ever did something unusual, I probably missed it. You kinda gotta knock me on the head with a stave to let me know you are trying to be romantic.
My ex-husband actually bought me the $300 dollar set of books I wanted for our anniversary. The complete works of Mark Twain. I was beyond thrilled.
My girlfriend in high school asked me to a dance in an unusual way (the Valentine’s Day dance where the women asked the men – or rather, the girls asked the boys?). She had a friend of hers make a special delivery brought to every class period of mine with a piece of the invitation to the dance. Really embarrassing, and I felt really special, too.
