How do you say "Crab Cake" in Spanish?

Asked by CaseyWVU10 (550points) March 5th, 2009

I have to make a recipe for my Spanish class and I was planning on it being crab cakes. I was going to call it Torta de Congrejo but does that make it sound like it is a dessert?

What’s with all these Spanish questions? First shank, then crab cake… what’s next, super martian robot girl?? WHERE WILL IT END??? Honestly, I don’t know. I’m a French girl. :)

I am in a Spanish class, these things come up. Carb cake however is for an assignment, shank on the other hand was a friend and I not paying attention in class. Sorry, I can’t help it…haha

I would also be interested in how one says “carb cake,” which is probably a dessert.

Mmmm, carbs. :)

Like a doughnut, a cake, or a cupcake? Or maybe a cookie? :d

I’m with @astrochuck. My native spanish-speaking friend says: pastel de cangrejo.
