Has anyone ever actually caught a bullet?
I just saw the Watchmen and there’s a scene where Adrian Veidt, predictably, catches a bullet from a small pistol. Has this ever happened in reality?

Er… Without the person doing the catching being injured?
I could see some major bruising, maybe even some fractured bones or some blood. But the general idea is that they bullet ends up stopped without major damage and the catcher intended the bullet to stop there.
Definition 3 @ dictionary.com = a small ball. ........................... so….. yes.
…but only if it’s “from a peace keeping force.”
;(
Yes, they use a special made bullet with a very small amount of gun powder to slow the speed dramaticly.
Wasn’t there a MythBusters episode about this?
Oh wait, that was with your teeth. Still though. Busted.
Penn & Teller are entertainers. They aren’t catching real bullets. I’m asking about the real thing. I guess the answer is no, then. ~,~
Besides your actual super heroes and such like, I don,t recall anyone actually catching a bullet, can’t say I’d want to try either.
Kiddies do not try this at home…
