Do the bumpits volumizing hair clips really work as well as seen on tv?
I saw a commercial for the new bumpits volumizing hair clips that you put under your hair to “bump” it up on television and was interested in buying one. Has anyone tried them? Or know anyone who has?

Yes, to a point. They take an amazing amount of practice to get it right and so that no one can tell they are there because of a crease in your hair or a piece of the BumpIt sticking out. You also need a larger than average amount of hair, otherwise no amount of teasing and working is going to hide it. And hairspray will be your best friend.
Physically, they can be uncomfortable if you don’t get it right, again, getting it right takes a lot of practice and with the amount of hairspray you’re gonna use, it’s hard to fix what you do wrong sometimes. You can expect a headache or two while you figure out what works best for you.
A friend of mine bought a few and likes them a lot but it took her a few weeks of daily use to get the hang of it, I tried it a few times and for what I was doing, it wasn’t worth it.
It really depends on how often you plan to use them and how invested you are in getting the look you want.
