Oh yeah, and since there might be a chance they read Fluther, I can’t say anymore. it’s almost worth faking my death just to see the looks on their faces. Bwahahahahahahaha

ha ha ha ha ha the wife then?

evelyns_pet_zebra's avatar

nope, my wife is the only one who WON’T be surprised. Other relatives may get less than they think they deserve.

No, there won’t be any surprises here. Both of our daughters know what our estates are. They both have copies of our wills, in fact, altho they’ve never read them. There will be no arguments, no surprises.

@jbfletcherfan would you alter your will if you had a major fallout?

“The wife gets it all. The End”

I’ll be dead so I really don’t care much. Pretty simple for me.

If I go first, the hubby gets it all. If we both go, the kids get it 50:50 in the form of a trust. No surprises, no complications.

@zerocarbon Hmm, have never thought about it, I guess, but no. We are a close family & all get along so well that that thought never entered my mind. Even if it did happen, no, I’d never change my will. They’re still my babies to the end & my love for them will never change, no matter what they’d do.

@Darwin, we’re the same here. We’re each other’s beneficiary unless we die together, or until the both of us are gone. Then it’s 50/50 to the girls, except for specific lists we’ve written out to each of them in a codicil to the wills.
