I like Magic Hat, St. Peters English Ale and Rolling Rock.
Fosters
only joking
<runs to the corner and gets into the fetal position>
Red Hook is always a safe bet…
I can’t drink beer, but back in the day I was a big fan of Magic Hat. All of my friends go crazy every year when Sam Adams releases the springtime White Ale and they all rave over Red Stripe. I also used to be a fan of Pete’s Wicked Strawberry Blonde.
@blastfamy Hey, I actually like Fosters, haha. One of my buddies describes it like this: “Remember the first time you ever tasted beer? Yeah, it tastes like that.”
I’ve been wondering about Rogue. Great packaging.
Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale are my favorites.
I’m poor so I usually drink Pabst and Old English 800.
Moylan’s Kiltlifter!
mmm… Beer…
Trumer Pils, Stella Artois, Pilsner Urquell (in that order)
Old Speckled Hen, Newcastle Brown Ale (in Newcastle, of course), XXXX. I’d love to try John Smith’s Bitter.
I used to like Grolsh, but only because of the bottle!
Stone Brewing: Arrogant Bastard and Levitation
Rogue: Dead Guy and Double Dead Guy
Flying Dog: Road Dog
Dogfishhead: ImmortAle
Four Peaks: Moose Drool
Lost Coast – Nut Brown Ale, can’t remember the name
Magic Hat #9
Great Lakes: Dortmunder gold, Edmund Fitzgerald, Christmas Ale, Conways Irish Ale
Coney Island: Freaktoberfest
Ska Brewing: Ten Pin Porter and the Blonde ale
Kona Brewing: Longboard Lager and Pipeline Porter
others that I can’t think of right now
This is like the 10th “favorite beer” thread on Fluther…
@Anaphase But it’s not like you can have too much beer…
@Anaphase yes it is but I am very opinionated on the subject so I will continue to post haha

New Castle is probably my favorite, but I also enjoy Guinness and Boddington’s in moderation. If I’m out to drink more than a few I’ll probably just pick up a Miller Light.
Local beers. Find a good brewpub, and try their offerings.
Harpoon IPA
Northampton Brewery Micro-brew
@cwilbur I wish there were microbreweries in my town, but alas…
brew-dog is 3minute walking distance from my front door .
Anything by Avery, but especially the Reverend. Tricerahops by Ninkasi. Downtown Brown from Lost Coast is great.
I tend to stick to local browns or reds wherever I am. I live in Oregon, so I drink a lot of pale ales. But I still prefer a brown or an amber ale.
@Mamradpivo Downtown Brown thats the one I was looking for! (See my above post) GA
Pigs Ass Porter… I like the sound of that, it’s already got me squealing with delight!

Sam Smith Nut Brown Ale. Not in bottles: Satan’s Pony from South Street Brepub in Charlottesville, VA.
