Asked by Lothloriengaladriel (1555points) March 12th, 2009 from iPhone

I’ve done it before but I still need a few more processes and I’m going today for my monthly, a while ago the dr that does it sold me lmx5 cream to help with the pain during the process because it’s near my chest and really sensitive and painful, I was going to use it today before I go but I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do with it, im not supposed to have it on during the process either and it seems kind of weird to of sold me this cream? Idk help if you can, thanks

I have never had a tattoo removed, nor used the cream. But I just did some quick research and found this page which explains the cream’s purpose. From this, I deduce you are to use the cream after treatment, to help with the pain. As it says in the link, the cream works by preventing the nerves from sending their pain signals to the brain.

By “during the process” I believe your doctor meant to say “throughout the entire tattoo removal process” meaning from day 1 to the day where you have your last treatment.

But since you are going today, ask the doctor what you are supposed to do with the cream, as he was the one who prescribed it to you and thus knows what you are supposed to do with it.
