What makes you cry?

I cry at the drop of a pin. Well, I don’t bawl and cry, but my eyes will start watering and tears will form even when I’m in a simple argument about what to eat for dinner. It’s actually very irritating, as it can cause the other person to stop talking and become concerned for me, even though I don’t need any concern and would rather discuss the primary issue!

Other than this involuntary crying, I cry when I watch extremely motivational YouTube clips, at the end of certain movies, and when I am frustrated or angry.

Nothing beats a full body cry, face all messed up with boogers and tears, pounding the floor ala a temper tantrum even. I feel so awesome after crying, I feel as if a huge weight has been taken off me, even if the core issue still exists.

When I was in the depths of depression, anything emotionally moving about someone else’s or my own plight would case me to cry—in a way similar to @dynamicduo.‘s No sobbing, but definite choking up and eye watering, and sadness. I don’t do anything more than that, and I do less of it now that I’m feeling better. It was hard being so emotionally raw all the time. [although it was good, too]

When I’m really stressed out and sick.

Those SPCA commercials with the sad looking dogs and cats. The Sarah McLachlan music doesn’t help.
I cry when I watch some chick flicks, too. There’s one part in Stepmom that gets me every time. And what girl doesn’t cry during The Notebook?

When i’m absolutely frustrated with something or someone i’ll breakdown and cry. Also sappy love stories or stories of people who have overcome difficult obsacles in their lives, either in movies, books, or real life. I also cry when i’m not feeling well, especially if i’ve been sick for a long time.

@Allie I turn those OFF! Can’t watch them. Today I turned off the commercial for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Can’t watch Jerry Lewis at the end of the MD telethon either.

I cry when I hear or see other people in uncontrollable pain.

Onions, movies, plays, music, separation from loved ones, catastrophy.

i hate those kids in africa comercials. i mean i know what they are doing. making me feel bad for the .99 cents extra i have every day… and they are trying to coax me out of it… i feel like such an american fat cat…

Lots of things, Im sort of emotional lately.. I was driving to work around 6 am the other morning and I always look at the cows along the way, on the side of the road and I saw one that looked like it may of been malnourished, He was super skinny and he looked like skin and bones, and it made me cry.. ): I love animals a lot.. I cry a lot over that sort of thing..
and my ex.

@Allie I agree with you & Mr_M. When I see that animal commercial come on, I get up & go to another room. I can’t stand it. I want to adopt every last one of them.

Someone hurting my feelings will make me cry big time.

Remembering really wonderful memories and feeling I will never be able to obtain that level of happiness again.

of course I just have to remind myself that there are many new, beautiful memories to come

Also, I think I cried while watching Remember the Titans and yes, The Notebook. Guilty.

I cry very easily.
Those damn SPCA commercials get me too. I think it might be the Humane Society though…I’m not sure. I can never watch without crying my eyes out.
I cry at the thought of losing anyone. Just talking about my mother getting surgery this week makes me cry.
I also cry when stressed, or frustrated. But, not sob..just tears and whining lol

When I slam my hand in a door – did that today. (klutz)
When my children get their feelings hurt. I hold it in until after they go to bed, then cry. I hate when anyone hurts my children, in any shape or form!
When I think of my dad, I miss him so much, it hurts to think about him.
When I see my mother cry. She broke down thinking about dad, yesterday. It kills me to see her so sad.
When I laugh really hard, I cry. there might be a random snort in there, too!
I cry when those damn SPCA commercials come on. So very sad!
I cry when I go in for chemo and realize the one less person is there, because they didn’t make it. That happened at my last treatment.
I cry when I am so damn fed up with all the bs in the world and my life. Then I feel much better and get moving, again.

I’ll admit I got a bit emotional when I first watched the end of Star Trek: Nemesis, and I still do.

Receiving a dick punch.

Any time that someone close to me dies, I cry alot because it hurts. I probably cried more than I ever have before when my father was in a hospice and dying from cancer and then after he actually passed away. It was one of the most difficult and saddest times of my life.

This is starting to push me over the edge. Really sad things happening to nice people.

Every damn thing. Happy? I cry. Sad? Cry. Incredibly pissed off? Cry – which just pisses me off even more. Movies, the news… you name it, I’ll cry about it. :’(
