What are creative fundraiser ideas that you or someone you know tried?

I am trying to raise money so I can participate in helping tribal people. I have less than two months to raise money. Ebay is out, unless I better comprehend it. To the original Q: Any cheap, fast, succeful fundraiser ideas?
