I haven’t found a single thing on the internet that I couldn’t do without.

Tons of shopping sites I’d never get a chance to buy from if it weren’t for the internet. Medical research. My library’s website, which allows me to renew books easily, and place books on hold. My kids grades. Last but not least, Fluther.

iTunes (I love podcasts). School. Ordering pizza. Shopping.

Google. Google, Google, Google. I used have to go to the library for all my research for which I didn’t have the reference books at home, and I was forever buying reference books of one sort or another. God bless libraries, I hope we never let them die, they are essential to our civilization. But still, a few clicks from my desk and I’ve got a one-word answer or an entire book or scholarly article on the screen in front of me—how could you beat that?

See I love making lists. Sometimes I’ll even write things on my to-do list that I’ve already done just so that I can have to gratification of crossing it off! But I think I need to hand write my list. I don’t think it would be as satisfying to have them typed and stored on a website.
But I am not disputing the usefulness of that website.
