How Do You Add the @replies in an Answer?
I’ve been wondering this – not only on this site but others as well. I looked in the “comment” instructions but no luck there, either.

You type @username – pretty simple – usually it will give you a hand with an auto-complete.
I believe caps are important in the process. Or instance @Benseven won’t work, but @benseven will.
Type the @jonfreed
by typing the @ symbol with NO space after it. Then, you should notice that after the first letter or two you can just hit “enter” as Fluther has an auto-fill feature that will even allow you to scroll to the name you want.
Type @. Then use the arrow keys to select the user name from the box. The box only includes people who have contributed to the current thread.
Sometimes the yellow box with the usernames will simply not load. I have yet to find out why this is, as it sometimes occurs in both small and large threads. If this is the case, you can still use the @convention, and it should add a hyperlink automatically when you post your message.
Pro tip: if the link doesn’t show in preview, it could be because you’ve spelled the username wrong. So this can be a hint to recheck the username, if you are someone who appreciates using the correct username to address the user (which I do).
@dynamicduo – I find that too. One for the web heads to figure out!
@jonfreed the better you get on here, the more lurve you’ll get! Lurve to you!
