Here is mine:
May great questions and answers light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful jellies be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May all who grace your fluther
bring joy that long endures.
May lurve and pancakes bless you
and bring the best to you and yours.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Erin, go braless.

Mine is slightly more traditional:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Now how am I supposed to top that, Chuckie? Happy St. Paddie’s to all.
I always knew this as a Scottish blessing (Mom’s side) but I am told that the Irish also claim it. Regardless it has the lovely dry wit our two countries are known for. Enjoy.
“May those who love us, love us; and those who don’t love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn’t turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we’ll know them by their limping.”
May the best day of your past
Be the worst day of your future.
May the good saints protect you,
And bless you today.
And may troubles ignore you,
Each step of the way.
And of course, the old classic:
May you be in Heaven a half hour before the devil knows you’re dead.
