Didn’t actually do all that much. I did see Boondock Saints for the first time, and that was fantastic. Also, every item of clothing I wore was green (from the blazer to the boxers), so I say it was a success.
Yes, I did, but it had nothing to do with St. Patrick’s Day. I had an incident with my heart 3 weeks ago, & after spending 5 hours at the heart center at our hospital yesterday, all tests showed absolutely nothing wrong. All’s well. So my St. Patrick’s Day turned into a day of thanks & relief.
It was okay. My son and I took my parents dog for a walk to a park. I lost the bracelet my husband gave me on our wedding day. I looked ALL over, and have no clue where it is :(
Other than that, we had fun. I enjoyed hanging out with my parents, and my son had fun with their dog. He even wore an obnoxious “Irish” tshirt.
I had a wonderful day fluthering, playing outside with my daughter and drinking some good beer in the evening.
@jbfletcherfan I’m glad everything turned out well for you! :)
I ate corned beef then had to sit on a toilet with a bucket for the next few hours.
We celebrated my middle son’s ninth birthday. He got (among other things) a pair of fingerless gloves like those warn by Pokemon’s Ash Ketchum, he wanted to wear them to school today. He has had them on pretty much nonstop. It is great when a present is well received!
I was skiing. In fact, I’m skiing all week. That’s good for me!
My (adult) step-son and his girlfriend came over. My husband made a delicious dinner and we drank beer and baileys. The 3 of them even had Irish Car Bombs (a glass of Guiness with a shot glass of bailey’s and whiskey dropped in, chugged all at once!). I’m a lightweight, so I didn’t even attempt that one! All in all, it was a pleasant evening.
