Sorry – it is blocked at work but I will take a peek tonight at home!
I like it. The design is very simple and clean. It seems to be more about your band than you, but I think that’s just what content is recent. The only picky thing I have to point out is that the title “Wedding Crashers” should be capitalized :P
Also, I enjoy your taste in music! Have you ever heard of Dispatch, or State Radio? Two bands I fully endorse (seeing as they’re basically the same people)
looks great! very organized and easy to read. well done.
lurve for mac lovers
I like it a lot! It’s not too wordy and you have some interesting content on it. Good job!
Is it creepy if I add you on facebook?
yea but you have your name and address on it and thats not safe
@LouisianaGirl Though it is not clearly stated the address is of a band venue- not his home.
Nice site. However It took a while to load so I would suggest lightening the page.
Add a new page for venues and put the map widget on it as maps are slow. Make another page for sample songs and possibly even an “About Me” page for your other likes etc just leaving a personal statement on the front page.
You want your front page to be fast and clean so that it loads without delay.
@Dog oh but yea it is a very nice site
I like it, one thing I would change (for myself) is the size of your welcome/information at the top. When I visit a site looking for new content it’s nice to see the new content right away.
Just a thought.
I like navigation and structure. Are you going to have multiple pages of your blog? It will be cumbersome to have the posts in one ever-lengthening single page. How would someone find old posts? Categorizing/tagging/whatever is nice. That’s my first suggestion.
Great! I am no expert, but it looks good.
I like it! I’ll watch the video of your song from home because I have no speakers at work. But so far, you’ve done a very nice job!!
i like it a lot.
and oh man, the video! aw. you’re really talented.
I like it a lot too!
I also agree with Dog the only thing I would even think about changing is the fact that you have so much content on one page that it makes loading a little slow. It looks awesome though!
Worked out a few kinks.
Fixed a bit of the typography, if you see anything else please let me know.
Created topic pages and pagination.
Looks great. There are only a few more minor issues that I can see.
Move your header line which currently reads “Thomas Eckert home from school…” to the right about 30px so that the left side lines up on a vertical rule with the textual content below.
There’s no need to have “Go to page 2” in massive font size at the bottom of the page. However there are a number of options for pagination available to you. Which one you use is up to personal taste and how much effort you want to put into it. You could opt for simple “Older” and “Newer” links (placed on the right and left of the page respectively). In addition to that, you could also add the current page number in the center, or better yet, a range of dates (such as “Mar 20 – Mar 12”).
Thank you all for your comments. I lurve you. :)
