I’ve come across this a few times on the web, but I’ve never come across it in practice. Probably it’s some country/business specific.

what website ?
i was going to suggest it was measurements for something dimensions .
i know i am most likely wrong so i am ready for the laughter
yeah, my first reaction was a measurement for dimensions.
24(in,ft,cm,yrds) by 7(in,ft,cm,yrds) by 8(in,ft,cm,yrds)
In my world of politics, people use it to describe the actions of a two-term president. 24 hours, 7 weeks, 8 years.
For example, “Bill Clinton was working toward a better economy 24×7x8.”
24 X 7 usually means every hour of the week. I’m not sure what the 8 for.
@johnpowell thats 24/7 not 24×7
i am sure its measurements for something if the original post could say what website and what context it was in
that maybe but 24 X 7 is not how 24/7 is seen and to use the way you did would mean, 24 X 7 =168 if you were to think about it .
well thats what i think anyway
Sorry, I should have mentioned that the context is service, or something similar. My current best guess is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and an 8 hour response time. But not sure about that. From lefteh, it could then also mean 24/7 during 8 years.
Maybe it means an 8 hour shift each day?
width x length x height? = dimensions of an object ..maybe
