Has anyone done (and would recommend) or know of any outdoor education programs similar to NOLS. I’m looking for something short term preferably.
Thanks!

Outward Bound?
I did a 3 week trip when I was 14 and it was amazing.
I forgot about Outward Bound! Thanks. I’ll check it out!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, it would be great if it were a program that gives college credit, like NOLS.
The Boy Scouts of America
I’d recommend Outward Bound or look into Experiential Learning (I think Lesley University has a good course) courses and see if your school will let you do a “study abroad/visiting student” type deal for credit.
I’ll second NOLS. They have a variety of outdoor learning classes and offer university credits as well.
Thanks @amanderveen. That’s pretty much what I’m leaning toward, now.
