How can I let my friends know I'm back, without my Question being rejected by the moderators?

You can talk to people using the comments box, you can use the Fluther chat room (no idea what the URL is but hopefully some will) or by posting stuff on your profile. You can also to talk to people in the thread sort of as long as the conversation is about the question.

What you can’t do is ask questions that fall outside the Fluther guidelines.

@augustian A) I didn’t know that. B) I would have to write 61 comments to accomplish that.

Forest Geek has a good point… ask a regular old question, and people will see that you’re back. The questions that were removed were more of an “I’m back” statement.
