Blister popped! help?

I was playing Rock Band 2 on drums, when I felt a great pain on my pinky whenever the stick touched it. So I avoided the area only to discover a blister had formed, and then popped, all during the song. After a standard wash, dry, bandage IT STILL HURTS LIKE A MOFO.
My question is how should I care for it? Best tips for it to heal quickly? How long before it heals? (at least enough to play again) And what would be the best bandage for it?

Cover it, keep it clean, and don’t play drums for a couple of days. The best bandage would be a piece of gauze taped over the blister. It will hurt for a little while, but the only thing to speed up recovery is to leave it alone. Wash it, cover it, leave it alone, and within the week you’ll be playing again.
This is coming from an experienced rower who has had more than his share of blisters.
You got a blister from Rock Band? You are so hardcore.
A little neosporin on a bandaid will work wonders for it. Keep it covered, clean and dry, and it should feel better in just a couple of days.
just clean it, polysporin or neosporin and keep it covered. it will hurt for a few days but it will get better and you’ll be back to doing hammer-ons in no time!
Dip it in rubbing alcohol.:)~
But funny, really really funny.
I agree with Scamp. And don’t let the skin peel away. Keep it covered with the skin, too.

Okay here’s a serious answer. Keep it moist with something like Bacitracin. This will stop the skin from cracking and speed the healing. Cover with soft gauze and tape or band aid but make sure you have the blister that touches the bandage covered with bacitracin so it doesn’t stick. If you don’t have bacitracin you can use some vaseline.
NOWWWW I KNOW. I already put one of the all stick bandages on it. Also, I was drumming, not playing guitar.
Seriously? That’s amazing. I mean, blisters are why I don’t play guitar, but I’ve never had an issue with the drums…
Sticks, rubbing against your fingers, prolonged time. Colliding as well.
You’re holding those sticks wrong if you got a blister on your pinky. :)
@asmonet Naw, Its the way I hold them. I don’t know why it happens.
why do you play rockband so much? do something productive
