Is it okay for the G1 to be plugged into the charger all night?

I have heard that it’s bad for some phones to be plugged into the charger when they no longer need a charge. Does it negatively affect the G1 (or the G1’s battery) to be left on the charger after it’s fully charged?

I’m not sure about it 100% but I leave mine plugged in all night. It doesn’t seem to have affected it negatively. When it isn’t plugged in my battery lasts for a few days.
