Can you see who of your friends, or anyone else, is online?

[mod says:] No, there isn’t. We have discussed this in threads previously, but most people seem to prefer their privacy. A good way to find out who is online is by seeing who is “composing” on a thread or by checking into the chat room, where people often hang out while they are Fluthering. Also, you can PM (private message) someone if you want to know if they are online at the moment.

Good Q, Jelly….

psst @DutchCat – you can also click on “Great Question” under the Q if you like a Q. That way, @JellyB will receive 3 lurve points for asking it :)

Ok, so how did you direct that response at DutchCat?

@JellyB: It’s pretty straightforward. You just type the @ sign, and a list of names of people who are on this thread should appear. Every now and then it doesn’t, but then you can just just type in their name, and it’ll usually become a link.

Just use the ”@” symbol, and the username of whoever you want to direct the response to. But you can only direct a response to someone that has already answered the thread.

Ex: @JellyB

Edit: Nevermind…basically what @La_chica_gomela said haha.

@DutchCat D!! Do you get this message in your “Comments for you” thingy?

@JellyB—Like this? They are suggesting I click on Great Question for you to give you points…hmmmm. IDK. You’ve been very, very mean to me lately!

<span style=“color: #FF0000”> BBC Code?? HTML?? XHTML?</span> None of the above….

JellyB's avatar

I have NOT been mean! Watch out, i can deny you Great Answers too…... ;P

Dutchess12's avatar

PNL—how’d you change the font size? I don’t show that HTML or BBCode are doing it…

Dutchess12's avatar

ALRIGHT! I noted that it was a great question, even though it wasn’t!

Cool….sure isn’t anything like, Wis, tho, is it. These are the guys we took 2nd to in that one Vid Will posted for us….?

@DutchCat – you can make text smaller by enclosing it in – - – - those thingies (2 dashes with no spaces though). Look at the suggestions right below the “answer the question” box that you type in.

@DutchCat I don’t know what vid you’re talking about….but hey, this seems ok, right? It’s nice that’s it’s so much more “real time” don’t you think? Just gotta get used to it…. :)

There is, as you may have noticed, a list of possible text stylings, etc. below the composition box, as well as a link to other options. Now, get out there and write us some good questions!
