No, no, AstroChuck: they are clearly doffing their clothes in mourning for the passing of their home site, and are beseeching us to join them in their cathartic ritual. I think I will; I’m sure the sight of my glorious body will do wonders to help them through their loss.

I like to use hearts as avatars and I switch them out a lot. This one is a picture I took of a bleeding heart at my grandparents house. I love them, they are one of my favorite plants.

What about Dicentra Formosa?

It is a less-flamboyant version and blooms for the entire summer, loves shade and damp soil so comes in handy.

I have done, but I’m really disappointed in the 300 character limitation. I had to leave most of the important stuff out.

What 300 character limitation? Where? On your profile? That is new news to me.

@gailcalled yeah, in the description area. spent too long trying to get it to fit just right that I gave up after a while and figured linking things was good enough.

@Amoebic: Where did you see that restriction listed. Are you sure it wasn’t 300 words? LOts of nOObs have written long screeds. I can’t imagine Bendrew asking us to count characters. Consider trying again.

@gailcalled If you go into the description and type over the limit, after hitting enter, at the top of the screen under “My Account > Edit Profile” a reader bar prompts you with

o Ensure this value has at most 300 characters (it has 516).

I’ve tried it many times. With actual words, sans hypertext, I even held down the letter K for 15 seconds and hit enter to see if it was a word limit instead of a letter limit.
Perhaps it’s a new feature due to aforementioned noobs abusing it for their own personal exposé novellas.

@Amoebic; Thanks. That is, indeed, new info. There certainly have been many who saw it as a chance to be coy, kittenish, hilariously unfunny, and wordy with not much content.
