Has online social site interaction ever jeopardized a relationship of yours and if so, how did it turn out?

My ex nearly broke up with me because I said ‘luv you’ to an old female friend on facebook.

Facebook’s a bastard for relationship stuff.

my wife had her facebook page summoned in court once. I had to quit the cause to ‘legalize it’. always be mindful of what you do online. it’s all recorded, indexed, searchable, and public.

I think it’s jeopardized my relationship with myself more than with others.
fucking facebook.

and that phrase is so loaded, but I can’t even explain it right now. It would be too long and definitely a digression and people are sick of my ranting right now.

My second wife hooked up with an old boyfriend when he found her on MySpace.

Nothing like others are mentioning.
My husband thinks I spend too much time online. He and I need to communicate more about that, because we’re at a standstill.

I avoided MySpace and Facebook for so long because I knew what would happen if I did. Sure enough people popped up in my life all of a sudden.

It seems to cause so much relationship drama, endings and beginnings.

Well, I was happily married on Facebook, but when I checked his page he was totally flirting with some other man! The hussy!

Of course, I was also married to Thor, Son of Odin and I believe he was flirting with Flap Jacks McGee, so…

More seriously, no, it hasn’t. But my boyfriend does avoid reading any of my blogs (I have a few) because of bad previous experiences yet he just joined Fluther. So far, I think it is going well and we’re enjoying it together. Though I used to talk about him and our experiences fast and free (when called for), and now I have to remember he might be along to correct me. Ugg.

Not that he didn’t correct me before. I’d read something to him that I was going to post and if he had an opinion, he’d say it.
