Honestly, I’m not sure what changes have taken place in order to judge.
Once I moved into my house, I kind of forgot all about credit since I don’t use it.
What? The one they used to decide to give people NINJA loans to buy massive houses they couldn’t afford? Or the one they one they use now that they have realised they have flushed away vast quantities of money that they’ll never see again and determined not to screw up that bad again (well at least not this year)?
Do you mean the American system?
I think some parts are silly but necessary. Like voluntarily closing an account docks your credit score—that’s silly, but I can see a reason for it. But for the most part, I think it is basically fair. What I don’t think is fair is that filing a dispute with the three credit bureaus is such a crap shoot and they don’t always respond appropriately or in a timely manner.
