No, never, not even once.
Yes, I am a normal person, thanks for asking.
Yes I have. In fact, I’m suffering with a bout right now and I’m depending on my fellow Jellies to ask some good questions, really soon, so I can make myself useful by answering them and thereby start feeling productive again.
Rarely. In case a sudden case of boredom strikes I always have at least one book in arm’s reach. I also have a huge long list of interests, activities, and tasks that I can do if I don’t feel like reading. And, if need be, I can always sleep.
Yes, several times when I was in a pneumonia. I had no computer, no TV in the room and couldn’t move around much, basically just lying down waiting to die.
Yes and I am pretty bored as of current.
i’m bored with boring questions.
I was stuck in the hospital for an extended period of time. I was so bored. No walks outside. It felt like I was cut off from life. I’ve never been so bored.
I’m suffering another bout of boredom, Calgon take me away….
Hasn’t everyone? I can usually find something to do away with the boredom though, so it doesn’t last long.
@Kevisaurus Sorry i wasn’t here to lighten up your moment of boredness…. ;P
My mom always said, “Go outside and play!! Make your own fun, damnit!”
@ubersiren Your mom was much nicer than I am, when a child expresses boredom. I hand them a broom, a swiffer or a dusting cloth and point them to a room that they can clean! It really cuts the complaining down. I rarely hear, “Mom, I’m bored!”
@cak That is what my mom did to me so that is why I have so many things to do always. That way if someone (like my son) asks “Are you busy?” I can truthfully say “Oh, yes. Very busy!” so I don’t have to do something they could do for themselves. I do the same thing to my kids. It has worked on my daughter but my son still hasn’t caught on
@Darwin – It’s a beautiful thing, when it works. :)
yes always like right now
