Have you ever met someone because of Fluther?

I’ve found out people are on the site that knew people in my family, which is unsettling.

I have had dinners/beers with 3 people from meeting them here.

What about noraasnave and maddiesmom? Did they meet on Fluther or did Fluther come after?

delirium and I knew each other before Fluther, but the two of us recently had dinner with PnL.

Not yet, but there definitely some people on here that I intend to meet soon! Nocountry and JudoChop are definitely on that list for my next trip to Portland. Gailcalled is another priority the next time I head home, and ForestGeek and I emailed when he helped me with a project – but even though we live in the same city, we never had a chance to meet!

I found out about the site directly from Ben (aren’t I lucky?), but I haven’t met anyone yet because of Fluther. I’d sure love to though! That’d be really fun.

Edit: Oh wait, not true! I remembered one! I met @sferik because we both love baseball – we went to a Giants game together in SF last year. That was fun – he’s a great guy.

Romantically, no. I’ve made a lot of great friends. My boyfriend joined Fluther very recently. It’s kind of strange, I used to talk about him every so often (mostly for pet questions), now I’m worried he’ll see me talking about how he called his cat Mister Snugglesworth this morning and be cranky.

But not that worried. And to be fair, it might have been Professor Snugglesworth.

I haven’t met anyone from fluther in real life, yet.
I was outside of @asmonet ‘s window the other night but I ran away when she came outside. She tried to nancy drew my ass.

I haven’t been a part of fluther long enough, for anything like that. I do already know two people on fluther, in person. I don’t see them though. And we seem to avoid each other.

I haven’t met anyone yet but I have discussed the possibility with a couple of fellow jellies. We’ve also invited Marina over for a breakfast dinner of scrambled eggs. Hopefully she takes us up on the offer. :)

I haven’t met anyone IRL from this community, but I’ve only been active since the end of November last year. I don’t think I’ve met people in real life from a web community since the (now defunct) message boards for the band Soul Coughing and the (long gone) boards at the old Fametracker in 1999–2000. I’m good friends with a number of the Soul Coughing people still.

I would love a get-together with people from here. Who’s up for bowling? :D

I’ve since met with @mcbealer again, and met her lovely boyfriend @forestGeek. I also recently had dinner with @marinelife. I was hoping to meet up with a bunch more when the Aussies came to visit, but I got sick and missed the opportunity. :(

I’ve met @petethepothead, @marinelife, @rangerr, @IBERnineD, @PnL, @Aliie, @boots, @J0E, @lefteh, @timtrueman, @andrew, @ben, and @camertron in the last 5 weeks. Its been amazing. Unfortunately I missed out on seeing @augustlan and @johnpowell though. Next time!
