Hey! Do you guys (fluther) feel like you were in a nice, quiet, calm pool--and suddenly all these people strange, nekid people are doing cannon balls in it?
Sorry ‘bout that!! I kind of wish something like that had happened on wis.dm at some point. May be somewhat frustrating, but also socially interesting.

Actually I’m having a pretty good swim.
YAY!! :) It’s been a bit rough for us too, but interesting! Like…surfing when you never have before. I’m in Kansas so….well, wait…I HAVE surfed, but on a card board box down a weed covered hill….and it hurt when I fell. My kids made me do it.
Ha! It was never quiet & calm in here, but I love your analogy nonetheless! It’s great having some of you here, for exactly the reason you mentioned – it’s interesting to have new insights & views to share.
No because the pool was already filled with wild, partying, splashing neekid flutherites.

I think it’s great…I was a bit surprised with the amount of questions from newbies, but that’s just because it was alot of questions from newbies that I didn’t know anything about, it takes time to get to know someone and now there are alot of new someones. :) Sometimes we can get a bit flat, so fluffing the pillows is a good thing. We’re glad you’re sticking around and giving us a chance!

@miasmom—yeah…on wis.dm sometimes people would change accounts, but even if you didn’t know it you could spot them instantly…there’s a difference between the questions a REAL newbie asks, and the questions someone who is familiar, at least generally, with this kind of thing…

Nice quiet pool on occasion with moments of turbulence, it will be again soon. May have to categorize questions though so we can sort quicker.
