It depends on the design of that roller coaster. (I spent 6 years running the rides at an amusement park). Some roller coasters have vertical wheels on the inside or outside of each track to prevent the coaster from derailing. Most have wheels under the track (frequently you can’t see them) which prevent the coaster from derailing.
