It’s not politically correct, but I need to cite a line from it; the line is “C’mere Ni***r, ole boy!” The speaker is a soldier, and the one being called is a black lab-type dog. The film came out sometime before 1979. I saw it on TV around that time, and the line also appears on Pink Floyd’s album, The Wall.

Can’t help you out with just that. Any idea who was acting in it?
Could it be The Dam Busters?
Could be… that’s what comes up when I google: ‘n****r lab “war movie”’.
Definitely The Dambusters. I just watched it a couple of weeks ago. It isn’t very good.
Waters gave a peformance of The Wall in Berlin in 1990 in aid of Leonard Cheshire’s Memorial Fund For Disaster Relief. Leonard Cheshire took over as commander of the Dam Busters squadron from Guy Gibson.
It is “The Dam Busters”. I found this reference that affirms it:
“U.K.‘s Channel 4 screened the censored American version in July 2007, in which the dialogue was dubbed so as to call the dog Trigger, this screening taking place just after the 2008 remake was announced. For the remake, Peter Jackson has said no decision has been made on the dog’s name, but is in a ‘no-win, damned-if-you-do-and-damned-if-you-don’t scenario’, as changing the name could be seen as political correctness, while not changing the name could offend people.”
Thanks @AstroChuck and @hiphiphopflipflapflop
Well, I wasn’t looking for a quality flick, @jasongarrett, just a reference. Thanks.
OMG, I was just going to suggest you ask ‘hip’ and there he is already and wearing a damn fine smoking jacket too.
lol I had too little faith to go with the Google for the first shot. ;)
