Can you be more specific? I thought it was perfect.

I just had a hard time following it. I just found it boring. I may have liked it more if I would have been forced to pay attention in a theater, but when I have the option to get up and do something else it had better be pretty darn good to hold my attention.

There are people who hated The Godfather? Really? Best. Movie. Ever.

I couldn’t stand…. what was the name of that HBO mafia TV show everyone raved about?? I Bought season 1 and couldn’t get past the first few episodes. Maybe you have to be from the East coast or something.

You couldn’t stand the Sopranos?!!!!!!!

That’s the one. It just couldn’t hold my attention.

@ Judi: Haha, I’m from the east coast and I don’t get it either. From what I can remember the Godfather really was boring, and that’s really all I can remember. Now, I haven’t seen it in probably 5 or 6 years but there isn’t even one scene that stands out in my mind compared to all the other itailian mob movies out there….

Wow, The Godfather is a classic! It’s like saying you hate The Beatles.

@nayeight , The scene where Sonny gets it by the toll?

The way Coppola intertwines the baptism with the mob boss killing at the end?

How he makes the sound of “pebbles crunching” when the job is done with Michael’s brother-in-law?

AWESOME!!!

@Mr_M, don’t forget MIchael shooting the cop and the other guy. Michael getting to Apolonia about 10 seconds too late. Mo taking a bullet right in the eye.

AWESOME!!!

That restaurant is located in the Bronx, New York, right next to the 2 train. For real.

For as many times as I’ve seen that movie, when I’m changing television channels and it’s on, WHATEVER scene it’s on DRAWS ME IN.

They have a book of the entire screenplay as well as movie secrets. Also GREAT!

@Judi: Oh, love of my life.

@rawpixels: I am not overly fond of the Beatles. I don’t hate them, but I think they get far more credit than they deserve.
