Two parts: What is your favorite Sci-Fi Universe? What Universe besides our own would you like to live in?

StarWars: This universe has issues, if you are a rebel you live like crap fighting for what you believe in.
Star Trek: Existence is pretty nice, especially if you are an explorer. You will probably even save the galaxy a couple times a year.
FireFly: If you are part of the Alliance you are a tool, otherwise you seems to be a priate, which actually looks like fun.
There are plenty of other circumstances, what universe would you like to be a part of?
And I know I only covered a couple, you can pick from any Sci-Fi show, movie or book.

I think there are a number of worlds I’d like to try out. Charles Stross’ universe, as depicted in “Accelerando,” Walter Jon Williams’s world in City on Fire, the world of The Iron Dragon’s Daughter by Michael Swanwick, and William Gibson’s world in Neuromancer.
I’d have to go with Star Trek, but in the time they were perfecting warp drive engines and making a fleet. I could be apart of the first generation of space explorers, it’d be pretty sweet.
I think I’d go to the Old Kingdom from Sabriel (after it had been fixed up and cleared of Dead). I would only want to go to the Buffy-verse if I was a Slayer there cuz then, you know, less chance of me dying.
I’m a browncoat! I’m a browncoat! I’d be all about the Firefly-verse.
I’d also be a huge fan of living in the buffy-verse.
Really I just want to live in a whedon-verse apparently.
@adreamofautumn: Sounds awesome! Like I said though, I’m just worried about dying on the Hellmouth. Maybe if we stick with Buffy?

For me personally to live in? Star Trek. But I do like many of the well-known series like Galactica, Firefly and Star Gate (especially Atlantis).
The Buffyverse, of course.
I wouldn’t mind living on Pern and associating with dragons and firelizards.
I would definitely go with the Star Trek universe as my favorite and that’s the one I’d like to live in.
Shanara, The Territories, and Tar Valon.
Any universe created by my favorite author John Varley. They man is a genius at creating incredible worlds.

My first impulse is to say a “Quantum Leap“universe, But I am not fully convinced that I’m not already there.
“The Dark Tower” universe could be really neat, with the whole “portals to other worlds just hanging around anywhere” thing.

Star Trek would be great! I was a Trekkie (Trekker) back when there were hardly any at all! I’d definitely want to be a Vulcan!

Me, I’d dig being one of the Maiar, aka wizard.
Battlestar Galactica would be fun too, especially if I could be Starbuck’s wing man. I think she is the sassiest, funniest, daring, beautiful Viper pilots this side of Sol!
Dune, is boss as I am in love with all things ‘desert’ (I live in TUCSON!) I think it would be great to live on Dune for a while, and learn the Wyrding Way.
Star Trek, in the 24th century. I’m an exploratory kind of guy and a Trek nerd.
I already am “A Stranger In A Strange Land”.
Star Trek would have to be my favorite, followed closely by Stargate. Another favorite is the Xanth universe, based on the series by Piers Anthony. I don’t think it has hit any screen, large or small, yet.
