I am a lonely little petunia in the onion patch that is the Bible belt.
Only about halfway around the world…
but sometimes it feels like a world away!
3hours. i hate michigan..
I suppose so since home as such no longer exists. The big house has been sold, the furniture has been given away, and I don’t really see my parents or my siblings often. So “home” for me is gone.
And I am in essence a motherless child because dementia has taken her away from me.
OTOH, home for my kids still exists and with any luck will continue to do so for many years.
I’m home right now but I’m a long way from normal.
@KalWest. Yeah, that’s very true. It is fun to be different or at least moderately unpredictable. =)
I am home. But next year I’ll be living at UCLA.
@Darwin I’m sorry about your mother. Having her…& NOT having her must be hell.
Physically, no. Mentally, yes.
I just moved back home. I’m loving it. Long Beach is the best.
Yep. I’m from Jersey, and I live in Colorado. Not as far from home as when I lived in the Caymans, or SoCal, but still far :O
I have a few “homes” I carry inside me.
@VzzBzz
That’s good. I’m jealous…. happy for you—- but jealous
I am approximately 450 miles away from where I was raised as a child and I am home.
Eight hundred and ten miles right now.
And I’m practically burning down the Internet running videochat with the family at home.
I’m about 6,000 miles from home. Boo.
