What is this pain I'm having?

I’m having some pain in my left kidney region. It doesn’t really hurt unless I touch it. It’s on my back, about an inch below my ribs on the left side. It’s more on the side maybe than the back. Aside from the pain, when I touch it, I can feel slight soft lumpiness. It also makes me queasy and light headed to touch it, but I don’t know if that’s just me being grossed out by it or what. I also have a little low back pain, but that could be totally unrelated. I’m afraid it’s a kidney problem. Anyone else have any ideas before I go running to a doctor?
