What type of jazz is this? I'd like to find more stuff (artists) like it?

The closest genre that it sounds like to me is Nu Jazz.

I’ve only heard earthtones but i would be surprised if the other stuff wasn’t good.

The line between jazz and hiphop is blurry – both incorporate music history as a text to make references to – but to me jazz is more about live musicians instrumentally riffing off each other in the moment where hip hop is more about lyrical virtuosity and the riffing is done more by sampling other recorded music – which is what j dilla does.

SO to answer your question I’d classify this as more of hiphop that’s really in tune with its jazz roots, musically.
