I tried to crack my thumb a week ago by pulling it to the right and when my attempt was unsuccessful, I went to sleep. The next day I could walk! It hurt so much just to put my left foot down. Now its been a while and it doesnt get better. I cant even put on heels! What do you think it might be??

By thumb I am presuming you are talking about your big toe?!
If so, do you have a bunion?
yes yes my big toe!! No… it looks normal but I cant move it to either side or up or down. Its suck in one motionless posicion.
Sounds to me like you NEED to make an appointment with a Podiatrist. Unless you want to hobble through life, your big toe is important and needs to be looked at.
oh maaaaaaaan… exactly what I feared!!
i’ve never heard of a big toe referred to as a thumb
I agree that a visit to a doctor or podiatrist is in order. You might have dislocated your joint, for example, or there might be a stress fracture. It could be podagra (gout) or an inflamed tendon. Only a physical exam ± x-rays or MRI will help sort this out. In the meantime, you can try taking ibuprofen (an antiinflammatory medicine) for the pain and to reduce the (likely) inflammation.
you might have pulled one of the tendons on the bottum of your toe. A lot of times if you stretch it too much you can create a lot of small rips in the tendons that wouldn’t hurt right away, but during the course of the night your body would have started to repair it, and the pain is a result of your body telling you not to tear it again during the repair process because it can do permanent damage.
@shilolo He’s 100% correct. I would add “put ice on it” to what he said.
thanks guys! I’ve scheduled an appointment with my podiatrist for Monday, we’ll see how it works!
(((((Hugs))))) for your health!
