Where is the best place in hawaii for a week's vactaion?

I’ve heard GREAT things about this resort

I have a friend from Hawaii, and he brings me back delectables from here

So, I would recommend both and plan to stay at the one and eat at the other whenever I get to go!

It kind of depends on what you like to do. Each island is a little different.
My husband and I really enjoyed the Big Island and had a blast exploring the national park. But the Big Island is not really a beach island as it is quite rocky and sandy beaches are a bit difficult to get to. There are some fantastic snorkling spots.
Maui is lovely and is much better for beach sitting and swimming. Snorkling is good here, too.
Oahu is very popular and more crowded than other islands, but is good for beach, surfing, snorkling, etc.

And I like Kauai. We usually stay at the Poipu Kapili.

I second Kauai. It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.

What are you hoping to do there and which month are you going to go??

looking for beaches, food and spa… near some small towns. Going with a friend… not romantic.
