Shall we thank the mods for their wonderful job this week/end?
The mods don’t get a lot of love just for being mods and they put in a ton of time and effort to keep this place sane this week and weekend. Shall we thank them for trying to smooth the transition for the wis.dm-ers and keep everything running like normal? If you are feeling thankful, tell them here.

I would, but the site is responding real slow.
My goodness. It has been incredibly tough being here as a user. I can’t imagine what the moderating duties were like! I think that on the whole they have handled a difficult situation incredibly well.
Thank you, mods, for keeping cool tempers and level heads during the last few days. I know it cant always be fun dealing with all the drama.
Im ready to accept my spanking.
The Moderation is fair and effective in comparison to other places.
What a breath of fresh air.
I’m very grateful to the mods for dealing with a lot of extra stuff this week. It’s a thankless job—but maybe a few of us can change that: thank you, thank you, thank you! There ought to be a special category of mod lurve.
I have to agree, this has been a tough week for everyone, i think.
Can’t imagine how much Ben, Andrew and the mod team had to go through.
Hundreds of emails and all the posts.
I’d also like to thank the new members who stick around as things calm down.
Yes.
And for the record, none of my posts were removed or moderated. :)
The mods already know they have my undying love and gratitude for being the TRUE heroes of Fluther. what, too much?
I would, but they keep remo—

<—-would like to be a mod simply to do that to AC on a regular basis. :-)
Thanks mods! Beer’s on me. :D
In the spirit of overlooking the social nature of this question, I will join you. I prefer a well modulated (and moderated) site. thank you.
@AstroChuck…What I mean is also no suitable repalcement when referring to your genitals.
Absolutely!
The magnificent mods turned what could have been a major rhinocerous crowd fuck into a much kinder and gentler crowd fuck.
^ ^ Says the lady in the bunny ears.
Oh, I’ve been telling them. But I’m happy to say so again. I think the world of our mods and greatly value what they do to keep our community strong and running smoothly.
I had a question modded myself this week, and I appreciated the way it was handled and how quickly my rewritten post was accepted.
In the real world, I wouldn’t care to be supervised and subject to correction all the time, but this is an artificial environment and doesn’t work the way the everyday world does. That is just fine and as it should be. I am not confused about which is which.
@Blondesjon- Oh, behave.
That won’t make as much sense later when you change your avatar once again.
thank you mods, for putting up with all our shit :)
Thank you, mods, for your patience! And for volunteering to not only help your community, but for putting up with the negativity, the tantrums, the whining, the petulant flouncing, and the misplaced, misguided sense of entitlement that seems to have found its way over here of late.
Mods, thank you! It’s nice to be on a site where people do care about the content of a site. :)
Thank you mods. I’ve never been on any other q&a site, but from what I have gathered from my time on fluther, they all suck. You are the reason that fluthering is the only thing that I have ever really enjoyed doing on the internet. Except shopping, of course!
Awesome Job Mods!
I know Shilolo is used to intern hours but how are the rest of you holding up?
And JP- up at an ungodly hour manning the forum!
Great job, moderators! We lurve you!
Also: Great job @elijahsuicide for suggesting this question in the chat!
[Mod says] I lurve you guys!
Allie had 241 emails at one point today. That sucks. Word on the street is she was sober too. sucks^2.
As a wis.dm refugee and a site mod on another site- thanks indeed. I know how tough it is to be a mod, and you guys seem to be doing a great job. I apologize for some of the wis.dm folk that were used to a total free-for-all as far as moderation and are complaining. Be aware that some of us are very grateful indeed for the warm welcome.
@johnpowell, That’s about how much we get every day. I’m scared to check mine now since I haven’t in over 12 hours.
I’m amazed at how well things are going. Thank you, Mods. ^A lot!
I think the moderators do fine work here and Fluther just wouldn’t be the same without their efforts. You’re all great and you’re all very appreciated. Keep up the good work.
Job well done!
Thanks for not making me do it!
Job well done!
Thanks for not trusting me to do it!
I’m truely impressed. It has been a trying few days. But I couldn’t feel better about the way it’s all turned out. Big kudos to bendrew for their excellent choices.
Thank you. Especially @shilolo for putting dealing with this irate customer.
Kudos to all mods and to Ben and Andrew! I definitely feel that things are calming down now. Thanks for all the hard work!
The mods may not be perfect (but I expect them to achieve that state of grace shortly), but they sure did and are doing a hell of a job beneath the onslaught of so many questions. Bravo!
The mods rock, lots of lurve to every single one of them!
I just read the round table transcripts and am even more impressed with the job of our Mods.
Thank you for not bending, for putting the whole ahead of the single and for keeping the trolls out.
@mods Screw the beer that I offered. You all deserve a shot. What’s your poison? :D
I’ve heard from a number of new members in PMs that (even though they miss their former home) they love it here, are grateful for and appreciative of the mod work, don’t miss certain features of their old site at all, and don’t miss certain presences. I think your great team has had a lot to do with those positive outcomes.
I gave ya the 10th GQ – you deserve the “award.” Thanks, mods and jells and friends and gods – this place is waaaaay better than askville.com
;-)
