Okay so i’m in California with my 14 year old sister and we are looking for things to do in huntington beach, we don’t have to stay in huntington beach necessarily but the closer the better. Thanks for the advice!

well yes. that was on the agenda, but… we will be here until sunday. any, other advice
My favorite thing is the CRAFT FAIR AT THE PIER:
Every Friday afternoon and most summer weekends, you can find Art-A-Faire down at the Promenade at the Pier. The promenade also features several delightful shops. If you have transportation, go to San Pedro Port’s O Call Village. It is a charming turn of the century village of shops, featuring items and gifts from all over the world, restaurants and galleries.

3rd Street Promenade
Hollywood
Universal City Walk
Venice Beach
The Getty Museum
An Imax Movie
If you’re 14 and female, you’ll probably like the Fashion Island Mall in Newport Beach.
You could visit the Queen Mary.
There’s a small but interesting zoo in Santa Ana.
You aren’t too far from Knott’s Berry Farm.
Take the ferry to Catalina island. Well worth the trip!
@Dog: There has been a recent outbreak of attacks on tourists by a bunch of thugs. I would not recommend it.
Thugs on Catalina?!?
Walt’s Wharf for dinner
Shopping at Fashion Island or South Coast Plaza
Strolling in Laguna Beach
don’t wear red or blue….just joking, gangs aren’t real….
Seriously? Thugs on my beautiful Catalina?
Thanks everyone for the major advice!!! i will so take her to fashion island. she’ll love that. and definitely knott’s berry pharm. but don’t worry everyone. i always pack heat, so no gang is messin with meh
@Dog I tried to find the news reference, but it wasn’t immediately available.
The wait in line for Mrs. Knott’s fried chicken is worth it.
Phew. Good thing I don’t eat chickens. No lines for vegans.
@judi It would be horrible to go to So. Coast Plaza and NOT by anything.
@tinyfaery ; I usually buy a little something at Nordstrom so I can have a bag on my arm, even if I’m not spending big :-)
