I have it easy as there is a great bunch to pick from.
On July 13 my DOB, I like Cheech Marin, Patrick Stewart and Harrison Ford the best. Too bad about Robert Crane however.
Here are some notable birthdays from my birthdate of February 17th:
1981 Paris Hilton (she doesn’t deserve to share my birthdate)
1974 Jerry O’Connell
1972 Denise Richards
1965 Michael Bay favorite
1963 Michael Jordan
1962 Lou Diamond Phillips favorite
1959 Daniel Ray “Danny” Ainge
1959 Rowdy Gaines
1954 Rene Russo
1936 Jim Brown
1934 Buddy Ryan
1925 Hal Holbrook
Ron “Horshack” Palillo.
What more could a girl want.
Easy choice for me. Robert Frost.
Franklin D Roosevelt has his next to last birthday on the day I was born.
@Yarnlady That explains how you got to be the queen of Yarnia! I knew there was something special about you.
Rex Harrison, Mike Resnick, Penn Jillette, and Matt Lucas are my favorite people who I share a birthday with.
Also, Franz Mesmer, John Adams (the mutineer, not the president), Joseph Stalin, Patsy Cline, and John Belushi all died on my birthday.
@MacBean Oh no, not Penn Jillette. What’s the deal with that Teller twerp he sashay’s around with anyway.
7/25: Walter Payton! I’m from Chicago and was a tike when he helped the Bears win the Super Bowl. I did the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Percy Bysshe Shelley, born August 4th, 1792.
@MacBean Way to go in the other direction! Well let’s look on the bright side of life, shall we.
@discover You’re only 4 days away from me. Give my regards to Wilson.
@Trustinglife Don’t forget about the Fridge and all the mini-Ditkas out there.
Da Bearzzz!
@Kraken
?
you don’t know who dakota fanning is?
I just checked out the list you provided and I see a favorite Comedian of mine also shared a birthday, Dick Martin.
@Yarnlady Dick Martin? He must have been before my time. I never heard of him. I don’t think they are calling men Dick any more.
You’ve never heard of Dick Martin? Seriously? Rowan & Martin’s Laugh In, Match Game…? He only just died last year, and it was all over the news.
Nope, I suspect the name will die out with Dick Clark, Dick Cavett, Dick Cheney, Dick Smothers and Dick Van Dyke
My faves:
Willie Nelson
Phil Garner (Former manager of Milwaukee Brewers)
Al Lewis (Grandpa on the Munsters)
Favorites who died on my birthday:
Muddy Waters
Edourad Manet
Infamous who died on my birthday:
Eva Braun
Adolph Hitler
@Sueanne_Tremendous Manet needed corrective lenses, that’s why hi art was so blurry. Muddy Waters was a great talent.
@MacBean No bells are ringing. I guess he’s just before my time.
@Kraken That’s okay. Really, he was before my time, too. No wonder people always think I’m older than I actually am…
@Kraken : I believe you are thinking of Monet, not Manet. Monet had cataracts and the surgery left him with skewed color ranges. I am not aware of Manet’s trouble with sight.
@Sueanne_Tremendous Yeah my bad. Can you blame me for such a minor error, it’s 7AM and I’ve been up all night, playing my myriad online RPG games and getting into excellent discussions here at Fluther. Pat can I buy a vowel, LOL. Vanna’s not as fast as she used to be. I’m sorry.
@dearest_prudence Oh, that girl is full of beans alright! You can see where my mind is at :)
Cate Blanchett (in honor Miss Jeruba) May 14, 1969
@jmah & she’s hot too! I love your selection here!

Edie Falco! Fuhgeddaboudit!
That hack, Nostradamus.
But my favorite is AstroChuck.
@AstroChuc What did ND have to say about you?
Martin Luther King. They even declared my brithday a holiday, I’m so special!
Julius Caesar & Bill Cosby. I share the need to control balanced with a sense of humor with them.
I not only was born on the same date as Van Cliburn, we were born 12 years apart (Chinese calendar is a 12 year cycle) we were delivered in the same hospital by the same Dr. To save you a trip to Google he was a child prodigy and concert pianist.
@galileogir Oh snap! you pulled the Caesar card, now we’re in trouble. I guess you win because Bill Cosby is way cool too.
1920 John Powell (no, not ours. at least, i don’t think)
1906 Abby Hofmann
1807 Ezra Cornell
1755 Alexander Hamilton
Helen Keller.
Tobey Maguire (Spiderman!)
On June 27th
September 21st, Sophia Loren. I’ve actually been told I bear a striking resemblance to her.
Ok, that’s not true I haven’t ever been told that.
SuperMouse You bear a striking resemblance to Sophia Loren. Now you can say it with a straight face.
@discover we have the same birthday!!
OJ Simpson, Courtney Love
France (July 14th, aka Bastille Day).
But I like Woody Guthrie and Terry-Thomas better.
the only one I know is footballer Rivaldo, who was born 4 days after me. I have a friend who was born in the same hospital just a few hours before I did.
I don’t know anyone born on 13/4 like me, not even a different year.
My daughter was born on the same day as Bri’s. Does this count?
Alessandro Botticelli born on March 1, 1445
William Dean Howells born on March 1, 1837
Ralph Ellison born on March 1, 1914
Harry Belafonte born on March 1, 1927

Ron Howard born on March 1, 1954
Tim Daly born on March 1, 1956
Javier Bardem born on March 1, 1969
Mark-Paul Gosselaar born on March 1, 1974
This is a list of the cooler ones. MPG aka Zack Morris was born on my exact birthday.
January 24:
1. Warren Zevon
2. Yakov Smirnoff
3. Neil Diamond
@intro24 In Soviet Russia, birthday shares you?
@dverhey that is really cool. Thank you so much for your excellent answer.
@Jack79 WoW, I think you are the first person I saw here that can contend with Patrick Stewart, Cheech Marin & Harrison Ford. You have a very powerful bunch of people there.
Groucho Marx, Bud Abbott, Don McLean, Donna Karan, Sting, Gandhi, Grahame Greene, and, my favorite, ANNIE LEIBOVITZ.
@TitsMcGhee- You pick Annie Leibovitz over Mahatma Gandhi?
From the list here , Oscar Goldman, William Bateson (noted biologist), Donald P. Bellasario, Keith Carradine, Dino De Lorentiis, Paul Dirac (physicist), The Edge, Matthew Hensen (explorer), Dustin Hoffman, Ernest Lawrence (inventor of the cyclotron), Donny Most (Ralph Malph on Happy Days), Esther Williams, Connie Stevens (singer), Roger Penrose (cosmologist and theoretical physicist) and Emilio Zapata (Mexican patriot and revolutionary). Pretty impressive list.*
*Of course, I left out all the criminals, politicians, and other undesirables under my birthdate. Funny thing, I always thought I shared a birthday with Andy Warhol, but it seems he was born on the 6th. Dammit.
My favorites are the scientists and Dustin Hoffman. Looks like I have some birthday cards to send out in a few months. :-)
