Positive – Reese’s peanut butter cups, good cheese
Negative- Green peppers, coconut
Everyone thinks it’s weird that I hate green peppers but love red, yellow, and orange peppers. They claim they all taste just about the same, but they taste worlds apart to me! Is it really that hard to tell the difference for most people? I can’t even just pick them off of a pizza, because the taste is still there and it ruins the whole thing for me.
@augustlan Hi again. It’s funny, but my kids and I love every coloured pepper but green, too.
We are great fans of Reese’s – and I’ve “invented” this sandwich in honour of them: one slice gets chocolate spread, the other slice peanut butter. Voila, a “Reese’s” sandwich.
:-)
@augustlan
You removed that? Come on that wasn’t that bad.
Positive – various fruits, beef, peanut butter, cheddar cheese, salmon, chocolate, smokehouse almonds, cinnamon, vanilla
Negative – Limburger cheese, cucumbers, liver, caviar, peas, rye bread, Miracle Whip, sauerkraut, Kimchi
@Bluefreedom I like your positives – but I also love most of your negatives, lol.
@SeventhSense Not me personally, but we as a team decided to, yes.
@augustlan I agree. They taste different. the green ones are my favorite, lol
@Bluefreedom That is the first time i’ve heard anyone say they didn’t like cucumbers, not knocking it, just interesting
Negative – Onions. All types. And yes I’ve tried them over and over. Cooked are a little better for me (but still couldn’t do anything like onion rings). Raw no way. Also mushrooms. Sorry I know pretty much everyone loves both of those. LOL.
Positive – grapefruit, pomegranate, chocolate (of course), garlic, and probably lots more.
Positive: sandalwood, baking banana bread, dragon’s blood incense
Negative: bad potato? ;P
@RedPowerLady. My wife can’t believe it either. There is just something about the taste that bothers me.
@Bluefreedom To me cucumbers taste like water. But I so understand that everyone tastes things differently. I have a friend who can’t stand potatoes. Now THAT is odd. (to me anyways).
@RedPowerLady With a little salt and pepper, or other spice, cucumbers are great! imho
Positive: water, cinnamon, chocolate, cantaloupe, someone else’s skin.
Negative: cigarettes, envelope glue, multivitamins, chocolate cake.
okay, I know I said chocolate=good, chocolate cake=bad. I had a horrible experience once with a chocolate cake, and the flavor and texture together has been ruined for me until further notice.
@Amoebic I know what you mean by that. It happened to me with tacos. Can’t even stand the smell of them anymore.
Positive- Key lime pie, coffee and dark chocolate.
Negative- Green olives, mushrooms and oysters.
@jonsblond All of your examples are positive to me.
:-)
@Zen My husband thinks so too. One of us is always left out when it comes to ordering pizza.
usually my husband :)
@Zen hey you don’t have to convince me, i love cucumbers, especially lemon ones, @Bluefreedom is the one needs convincing, lol
@Zen I really like your Reese’s sandwich creation. I think my daughter would love it.
@jonsblond Sometimes, instead of cake, I have one with my cuppa. Heaven.
What’s BS about this site is acceptable to call someone a D&*Ck as an insult,
but I use the word P*^^Y directed at no one and it’s censored. So why is D&*K more acceptable than P%^^Y?
Fair and Balanced my ass. F’in hypoctrites.
positives: Godiva chocolate, good Cheddar, melons
negatives: sweet potatos, yams, tomatos, collards, green peppers
I’m with ya, augustlan, on those green peppers versus red & orange.
