The fact that the only person that can really change your life, is yourself. Thats what motivates me.
A delight in exploration, I suppose, the adventure of probing this immense mystery.
Having been in poverty most of my life and how having a family to look after.
A pressing need to eat sometime in the next week.
Most times, passion. Very often, curiosity. Sometimes money, or extended, the desire to keep living and have a roof over my head/food in my belly.
Taking care of my family, my coworkers, my community, and the world. Leaving the place in better shape than I found it.
Knowing how things will be in the future
My perceived mortality weighed against pleasure.
Hockey.
No, really.
It’s why I get enough rest, eat well, hit the gym so I can improve my game performance. I bust my butt working hard a job I hate to pay for it. It’s a joy that I can share with my fiance (we play on the same team). It also introduced me to the majority of my friends right now… I detached myself from my old group of friends because I grew up and out of destructive party behavior, and they did not. I was lonely. I made friends online, then started playing hockey and meeting new people that way.
Now all my good friends are hockey players, or internet-buddies… or both. :)
my husband and my daughter
My son, my husband, my job, my community, and the pursuit of justice. Those are my main motivators…oh, and earning dog food money.
All the things I’ve not yet done.
Insatiable curiousity motivates me to be the way I am and encourages me to do the things that I do. Life is a learning experience and I still have much to accomplish and many more things to see at this point.
Sex. It’s what motivates us all as humans.
My family and a never ending need to know more. I am a naturally curious person, I love to learn about new things.
